I don’t know how I functioned before I discovered dry shampoo. My naturally straight hair/oily scalp combo does nothing but benefit from the right one.
I’ve tried the cheaper options (I’m looking at you Batiste and PSSSSST) and they’ll do in a pinch but I find that the higher end options are more effective with less product. These 4 are tried and true in my book.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black Dry Shampoo– I was skeptical of this one. But I got over that shit real quick because this one is my #1 pick. It works SO good and smells awesome. Plus it has none of that pesky white residue.
R&Co Death Valley Dry Shampoo– It has such a fine mist that at times I wondered if any product was coming out! The packaging and smell are major pluses as well.
L’oreal Fresh Dust– I feel like this is a good higher end/pro dry shampoo to begin with. It’s hard to mess the application of this one up. Very precise spray top and very little white residue.
Bumble & Bumble Pret-a-Powder– Such a cool and handy product. I keep a few of these around. Great for traveling and prepping for undos. The non aerosol packaging allows for a more focused application.
